Barclays: Graduate Opportunities within Technology

We’re setting out to shape the future of our business. Driven by strong values and a clear direction, we’re focusing on one core purpose - helping people achieve their ambitions in the right way. This includes our graduates and interns.

Technology at Barclays

Technology influences nearly everything we do here at Barclays. We want to be at the forefront of industry technology and are taking firm action to make sure we are. The creativity our teams makes us quicker, more efficient and more competitive. And that helps to make us the bank of choice for our customers.

The opportunity

This is a fascinating area in which to put new ideas and solutions into action. There’s innovation in everything, from our award-winning ecommerce platforms to our digital banking solutions. You’ll play a critical role in creating, improving and implementing the next generation of ideas.

You can join us within Corporate and Investment Banking, Wealth and Investment Management or on the FLDP within Retail and Business Banking.

Corporate and Investment Banking, Wealth and Investment Management

Here, you could be working on powerful analytical systems, supporting new products, creating trading systems or contributing to strategic decision-making. Projects are complex and the team is one of the best in the industry. Fresh thinking isn’t just encouraged, it’s imperative.

Retail and Business Banking
Future Leaders Development Programme (FLDP)

We’ve pioneered a lot of banking technology firsts – from computer centres to the mass roll-out of contactless cards. But there are no laurels here; we keep on going. And you’ll help us do just that by tackling a variety of multifaceted, customer-orientated projects in Digital and Mobile, Architecture or Innovation.

The route you take of the FLDP will be based on your skills and ambitions. You can focus on the business-side of things, or you can use your technical talents in one of our specialist teams.
