Based in South London, our client need a real social candidate who enjoys closing business over a few glasses of wine and a rare steak!
This is a business to business role although the clients you will be dealing with are household brands within the food and drink sector!
You will be selling to clients and agencies!
This is working across:-
bi-monthly magazine
annual exhibition at Olympia (the biggest in the industry)
leading website: exclusive on-trade website combining the magazine content and exhibition information with competitions and events.
Sponsorship: annual awards
main purpose of Job:
to sell display advertising in the magazine, web advertising, exhibition space and sponsorships across all three products to the food and drink sector.
You will be able to:
Ability to organise, plan, present & close sales.Drive to cold call new clients, and generate new business.Ability to pitch at client and agency level and work with PRs.To develop new ways of generating revenue (out of the box thinking actively encouraged)To work with the publishers to ensure all marketing & distribution opportunities are maximised.Able to work in a close-knit team environmentKnowledge & experience
Advertising sales experienceExhibition and online sales experience (preferable, not essential)Knowledge of selling direct to clients.Knowledge of selling to advertising agencies.Understanding of publishing preferable
